Redwood - How to Prevent Create Work Order Page from Loading if Service Request Contact is Null?

Could you please help to achieve this use case in redwood service center?

When we create work order from service Request we have one check that if onsite contact in service request is null then it should throw the error and we should not be able to load page at all so this is how it is currently working in classic UI

but same i want to implement in redwood,

so I have written below code in in vbEnter event listener of work order creation page.

but this is working like below screenshot
