Does AI Assist disregard Manager's perspective during evaluation?

I was trying out the AI Assist feature during manager evaluation and have a concern. It appears that while a manager rating individual goals of their employees and wishes to use the AI assist function, the AI assist button doesn't take into account manager's tone and perspective. In the example below, we can see that even though the manager has rated the employee 1 star (i.e. Unsatisfactory) and has put a comment saying the performance needs improvement, the AI assist generated comment goes on to use the words like exceptional, commendable, excellent etc. for the evaluation of the employee.
